We are currently running all of the following:
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) - With three pathways available (Generic Health and Social Care, Dementia, and Learning Disability) this is the entry level qualification for people working to deliver adult social care in a residential or home care environment. Training covers a wide range of subjects including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and basic health care procedures.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) - This qualification develops the knowledge and skills of those working in a more senior role with adults in Health and Social Care settings. Also following a choice of the same three pathways as the Level 2 qualification, this course covers a wide range of topics such as supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.
- Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) (RQF) - This qualification is ideal for people working in a higher level practitioner role in social care, as well as those moving towards a Level 5 Management qualification in the future. The qualification is great for affirming, building and confirming occupational competence for people working in roles such as: Care Coordination, Care Supervision, unqualified Social Work, Brokerage , Rehabilitation and Reablement, Independence Support and Care and Support planning.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) (90 Credits) - Replacing the old Registered Manager's Award, this is the benchmark qualification for social care managers. It gives learners the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead others across six different pathways. It is recommended that prospective learners have already achieved their Level 3 Diploma. Routes available for those working with either adults or children and young people.
All the above Diplomas can be taken on as ‘stand alone’ qualifications, and can take between 7-14 months to complete.
Don’t forget, we can help you access funding for all these courses.
*(£200 employer contribution typical per learner for Levels 2 & 3 the rest of the Diploma cost can be covered by Skills for Care Workforce Development Funding for eligible employers, so the employer contribution would be the only net cost).
